My daughter works on the weekends with a local professional artist, a painter of guitars and motorcycles and other such things. They were cleaning out her shop today and found this guitar (bass?) body, which my daughter immediately decided would make a great restomod project.
Unfortunately, I am not sure what this is. I am 90% sure it is a body from an early 60s Japanese guitar maker named Teisco. The bridge rout at the back of the guitar has screw holes whose dimensions precisely match the dimensions of a Teisco tremolo which I found online. Any additional thoughts on which guitar this might be?
Ignore the drawing on the guitar body – that too is years old and will soon be sanded off.
